I went surfing with Mr. Ross, Mr. Sutter, Mrs. Ross, and these college students. They volunteered to help our school go on field trips. It was my first time surfing. We just kept on going out into the water and then I got another grown up surfing partner because my other partner's back was hurting. We went out. He walked me out and then I was on my tummy first. Then I was surfing on my knees and it felt good it felt like I was soaring threw the air. It felt so good to be flying like that I loved it! Then I was standing up! That was even better! It was fun to be going so fast on the water. We went to Moonstone beach. It wasn't that rough or deep unless you went out farther. Plus, you couldn't go out any farther then your waste. At the end of the day Taylor S. and I had to carry the huge, heavy surfboard all the way to the Jeep. That is how Taylor S. and I started talking. Taylor S. was a pretty good surfer and I was too for my first time. Then we went to go have snacks. We had muffins and water. We made or own changing room out of a tarp, the Jeep door, and wooden platform. It was hard to take off the wetsuits. I had to get a ride home with Oscar's mom. The people that where there were Taylor S., Oscar, Matt, Brenda, Mr.Ross, Mr. Sutter, Mrs. Ross, myself, and the college students. It was the best time of my life with the students, teachers, and the college students too.

Before our class surfing trip Taylor.S. and I ignored each other. On bad days we were rude to each other. Everything changed after our class surfing trip. We went to Moonstone Beach. It wasn't rough or deep; the waves rolled smoothly with enough power to surf. My teacher,Mr.Ross, lifted all of the surf boards off of his jeep and he put them on the grass. Taylor S. and I grabbed the same surf board. Then we walked the surf board out to the beach. Taylor S. and I figured out who our partners were and we walked to the edge of the water and waded into the water with our boards. I climbed on my board. First, I was on my tummy. Then I was surfing on my knees and it felt good. It felt like I was soaring through the air. It felt so good to be flying. Before I knew it, I was standing up! It was fun to be going so fast on the water. I loved it!
